Reflecting through Movement

When we hear the term of "reflection," so often we automatically think about sitting still. And while stillness can be incredibly powerful, there's also some real power through movement. It doesn't mean that you are always heading to the gym or jumping into a workout class - though those are certainly fantastic ways to break away and find some reflection space. There's also an opportunity to reflect through movement through a variety of different other forms.

You might find that walking through nature or going on a hike brings you that solace and that break from the everyday that you need. Perhaps you just want to spend a 10 or 15 minutes in your garden each evening finding room to grow something. Or you might find movement through yoga or stretching to be just what you need to feel refreshed and ready for the next day.

However you move and whatever space you do it in, I hope you are finding time, not just this week but every week, to reflect through stillness and also to reflect through movement - to get going, to get that brain moving - not on to the next item on your task list, but to give it space to recharge and re-energize and bring new thoughts to drive the work ahead.

I would love to hear from you on social media about some of the ways you are "reflecting through movement." Please share with me @thelearningloop so we can continue growing together.
